Hidden gem. Delicious little street tacos at great prices. Friendly staff. I live nearby and this will be a frequent dinner. Get the 10 taco special!

I enjoyed my experience here. Food was pretty good. I had rice and beans with some fajitas and I enjoyed it. The fajitas could of used a little more seasoning to taste more flavorful but can not fault it much. Overall good experience with great service. I recommend visiting for some good Mexican food for sure.

Love these gas station breakfast tacos! My fav is the potato egg and cheese taco. I’ll be back to try the trompo taco deal

This place's food is always good and tasty. I love that they have different meats and not just pork and chicken. They are quick and worth the price.

Hole in a wall with some really good food, we ordered tacos de carnitas, barbacoa, tripa, trompo and gorditas, and everything was so good! We got there really close to closing time and they still helped us and served us with a smile on their face, highly recommend it.

Always good. The location is cool kinda shady barber shop nearby but best texmex in area.

The food wasn’t bad. I’d never had a Gordita before. I had the beef. The quality of the beef was so so ( too fatty for my taste) but my son loved it. It’s inside of a gas station which was odd. There were some tables there but it’s not a sit down restaurant. It was good for fast food.

Always Fresh real Mexican tacos. We have eaten at many taquerias. Garcia has the best Birria tacos. They have amazing pork tacos. I would definitely drive 1.5 hours out of my way to eat here again.

Nestled in the heart of Richardson, TX, Taqueria Garcia offers an authentic taste of Mexican street food that feels both comforting and vibrant. This unassuming spot at 710 W Spring Valley Rd is a true hidden gem, delivering bold flavors and generous portions without breaking the bank. The friendly staff adds a warm, welcoming touch that complements the mouthwatering fare.

The menu’s standouts are a testament to traditional Mexican cooking done right. The Alambre sings with perfectly grilled meats and melting cheese, creating a harmony of savory and smoky notes. The Hamburguesa here isn’t your typical burger; it’s infused with Mexican flair, juicy and deeply satisfying. But it’s the Trompo Chicken Carnitas Chicharrón that truly captures the essence of their offerings—each bite a crispy, flavorful explosion that lingers deliciously.

Perhaps the best value is the 10 taco special, a favorite among regulars like Joe Liechty, who praises the variety and pricing. Whether you’re craving classic carnitas, tender barbacoa, or adventurous tripa and gorditas, Taqueria Garcia delivers with consistency and care, even late into the evening. The breakfast tacos, especially the potato, egg, and cheese, evoke a nostalgic, satisfying start to the day, as fellow patron Julie attests.

While some dishes might benefit from a slight seasoning boost, as Carlos Santos noted about the fajitas, the overall experience remains solid—comforting, flavorful, and authentically Mexican. The variety of meats, including options beyond the usual pork and chicken, adds an exciting depth that keeps locals like Yamesse Lacy coming back. Quick service and great prices round out a well-balanced dining experience that’s both accessible and memorable.

In sum, Taqueria Garcia is more than just a restaurant—it’s a vibrant slice of Mexican culinary culture in Texas, where every dish tells a story and every customer leaves eager to return. Whether you’re seeking a quick lunch or a flavorful dinner, this spot promises satisfying, genuine fare with a smile.
